The Letter To The Soldier

Dear Great Granddad,

How are you? Were you okay in the war? I hope the shrapnel didn't hurt you. It must have been quite
DARK and COLD. The job of being a soldier must have been DIFFICULT. You have defended our country, New Zealand, so well. I just want to say a BIG thank you for protecting us. I am VERY proud of you.
